The DSS Competition Team attends 4 mandatory competitions each year, plus National Finals (upon qualification)

Competition Accounts are billed monthly, and fees are due upon receipt.
Each rehearsal time is the approximate cost of an additional class:
Rehearsal Fees for the 2024/25 Competition Season
Solo                      $23.00/rehearsal
Duet/Trio               $18.00/rehearsal
Small Group         $14.00/rehearsal
Large Group         $14.00/rehearsal

Competition Entry Fees:
Fees will be published when competition companies for the next season are selected.

Costume Fees:
Vary on instructor’s selection.
Accounts will be billed when costumes are ordered in September, and are due upon receipt of the statement.

Students can be selected for:
Large Group (10+ dancers)
Small Group (4 – 9 dancers)
 Duet/Trio (2 or 3 dancers)     
Solo

All competition dancers are required to take a Ballet class, a technique class in the discipline of dance
that they compete in, and (1) competition technique class per week.
If any of these classes are missed, ​they must be made up within two weeks of the absence.

· Attendance policy – Two absences per year.  Mandatory attendance at rehearsal prior to competition.
